Biography

Lynn Marie Rideout is an Alberta girl who has lived all over the country, but always returns to her home Province of Alberta!

She is very proud to add her name to the firm she has had so much joy and fulfilment to be a part of for more than 20 years.

After completing her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology at the University of Alberta in 1988, Lynn Marie intended to fulfill her adolescent aspirations to study law. However, shortly after graduating, Lynn was forced to temporarily suspend these aspirations and enter the workforce.

Nevertheless, her education continued while she worked in the legal profession for 17 years before going back to law school. Indeed, Lynn has long been an integral part of the firm, wherein she developed her skills by preparing legal arguments for our lawyers and assuming general management responsibilities for the firm starting in 1997.

Eventually, Lynn found her way back to the University of Alberta and earned her Bachelor of Laws in 2005.

Lynn's years at the Bar are enhanced by the breadth of experience and legal knowledge that Lynn has gained over the many years she was employed in the legal profession prior. Still, Lynn has an appetite for learning and continues to attend regularly at Legal Education Society of Alberta seminars and conferences to keep herself current with legal developments and new practice initiatives.

Throughout her career, Lynn has appeared and assisted other counsel in all levels of court in Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia and the Northwest Territories.

Lynn is a fierce advocate in criminal trials and appeals, and provides high-quality services in the areas of wills and estates. Her unmatched versatility complements her extensive experience and ensures that our clients will be afforded full protection from injustice.
